Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. He is one of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and third-best overall receivers, he has been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of receiving yards, receptions achieved, and so on.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez has been an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF for the past few years. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame hour show that airs prior to FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 AM ET each Sunday throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for Atlanta Falcons for two years and $14 million on March 15, 2013. This despite being aware that Gonzalez was claiming he would like to retire at the end of 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader in active yards recieving his final season.
